• one scholarship under the General Cultural Scholarship Scheme (GCSS)

The Government of the Peoples Republic of China is awarding five scholarships to the Republic of Seychelles for the academic year 2012/2013.
The scholarships will provide candidates with an International Undergraduate Degree in the following fields of study.

Field of study:-

• Food Science /Technology
• Statistics
• Agricultural Science
• Marine Biology
• Mass Communication
• Electrical Engineering
• Journalism
• Oceanography

Criteria

• For undergraduate programmes, all candidates must have high school diploma or ‘A’

Scholarships Award at Masters Level (Msc) for the Academic year 2012/2013 to Study in Rwanda

The Government of the Rwanda is awarding to Developing Countries 13 scholarships to study in Rwanda, for the academic year 2012/2013.

The scholarships will provide candidates with a Masters of Communication Management (MCM).

Criteria

• Applicants must write a cover letter indicating that they want to be considered for
one of the free MCM scholarships offered by the Government of Rwanda.

Applications are now open for two mature eligible citizens of Seychelles wishing to pursue their studies in Japan for the Academic year 2012.

Information:

The application period for the 2012 round of the United Nations/Japan Long-term Fellowship Programme on Nano-Satellite Technologies ("Doctorate in Nano-Satellite Technologies (DNST)')

The Programme involves participation in a three-year PhD programme at KIT in Kitaklushu, Japan, and the award of a doctorate degree (Doctor of Engineering) after successful thesis defence.

Seychelles has been offered with two (2) New Zealand Commonwealth Scholarships Awards for tenure from 2013 at Masters and Doctorate (PhD) level studies

Royal Thai Government International Postgraduate Programme 2012

Seychelles has been invited by the Royal Thai Government to nominate (4) four, (2 designated nominees and 2 alternate nominees) suitably qualified candidates for the Thai International Postgraduate Programme in 2012. The following costs will be borne by the Royal Thai Government and administered by TICA
 A round trip air ticket
 Settlement allowance and a monthly living allowance in Thai Baht
 Accommodation for the duration of the course
 Tuition and supplementary fees (paid directly to the training institution)
 Life and health insurance

The Indian Government has the honour to offer to the Republic of Seychelles for its qualified citizens, with sponsored scholarships to study in India.

The Training Programmes opportunities are under AIFS for the academic 2011-2012.

The courses are to be conducted by the various Indian institutions in India under Action Plan of IAFS-II containing 51 training programme

Program being offered are to the concerned authorities in the Republic of Seychelles.

Interested applicants should submit their completed forms and relevant documents at the NHRDC.
