Survey on Brain Drain or Skilled Migration

The National Human Resources Development Council (NHRDC) which has the mandate for developing human resources in Seychelles is conducting a survey on Skilled Migration or Brain Drain. The objective of the survey is to identify the reasons behind skilled migration or brain drain among university trained graduates.

Notice

The public is informed that the functions of international training have been transferred from the Ministry of Education to the National Human Resources Development Council (NHRDC). Any business relating to international training and scholarships should be addressed to the Chief Executive Officer.

Members of the public should call at the NHRDC on Tuesdays and Thursdays between 8.30am to 12 noon ONLY as officers will make themselves available at this time.

Seychellois students set to study management in Russia

Marla Simeon, Samuel Chang-Sam, Cyril Benoiton and Terry Roberts received their visas and other documents during a ceremony on Thursday at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs headquarters, Mont Fleuri.

Four Seychellois students will leave for Russia by the end of August to pursue a university degree in management.

AWARD TO HONOUR STAFF DEVELOPMENTAL

On 17th August the National Human Resources Development Council will launch a national Human Resources Development Award to honour organizations in the public, parastal and private sectors with exemplary HRD practices. The Award will also be an incentive for organizations to put in place effective mechanisms for the ongoing professional development of their staff.
