Functions
Formulate and review the national human resources development policy, other strategies and procedures and a long term national human resources development plan;
Coordinate national human resources planning and utilisation and development of human resources in the public and private sectors;
Promote a culture of training and development and life long learning in individuals and organisations;
Establish mechanisms for the provision of training to meet the human resources needs of the country;
Initiate research in the field of human resources development; and
Provide a forum for consultation of stakeholders on matters related to human resources development.
